The leggings are great, fit and move well and the wear resistant patches are brilliant
Disappointed with the sizing of these leggings. With all other bottoms I have found size Small or XS to be spot on, but with this pair they seem to have used an entirely different cut. Therefore, the XS are slightly too long and after a full day of wear the waist starts to sag. Initially they seemed okay but as they stretch more they are only going to get worse. Otherwise they are fabulous leggings, and I love the extra tough patches as I have managed to put holes in my other leggings! Just not small enough for some. Please don't forget us little people 3rd Rock!
These leggings look really awesome and are perfect for climbing with its reinforced knee and bottom, preventing from holes that otherwise appear quickly especially on the knee part. The fit of the leggings is great for climbing, where they stay perfectly in place. Little downside: during the approach, especially when hiking down, they did not stay in place too well and slipped down, which I have not experienced with other 3rd rock leggings. So for longer approaches I will probably choose another pair of pants.
Very comfortable and flexible. I also like the high waist. When climbing on rough walls or holds the cloth is easily worn on thighs.
These leggings are so good for climbing - highly recommended if, like me, you like your other leggings too much to wear them climbing for fear of getting holey knees.... But, I've found that the sizing seems different to my other 3rd rock leggings. I have three other recent pairs of 3rd Rock leggings, Titan Botangles, Retitan Orbit 3/4, and Titan Highlines, all in size medium (most leggings I own are size small, but there's no way I could wear the Titan Botangles in size small, I tried to try them on, and I haven't lost weight). I originally bought a black pair of these Apaches from 3rd Rock, assumed (stupidly) after a quick try on that the medium would be fine for me, so took the tags off and wore them, only to find the knees went baggy on me and I had to keep pulling them up constantly. My local climbing wall now stocks these leggings, so I've subsequently tried on and bought a size small in the blue colourway (no blacks in stock to try in case the fabric is different), and they fit me more like the other mediums. From comparing them, I think this could be down to the medium Apaches being wider at the waist and slightly different (less supportive) fabric to the Titan Botangles and Retitans, and slightly higher waisted than the Highlines? For reference my hips are 38in, waist 28in, so would definitely recommend sizing down if between sizes on these.
