Great trousers for climbing or just generally. Unlike the photo they fit v snug so consider sizing up if in doubt!
These trousers fits well and allow a great range of movement for the lower body. I use it for indoor climbing. The great things it's that it looks like usual pants so you can send and then keep it for the after training beer/coffee. Perfect mix between climbing and generalist pants.
These are lightweight, meaning the fabric is thin, except where reinforced. For the money they seem expensive for what they are, perhaps because they were thinner than I was expecting. I'm not sure how long they'll last on rough rock. They do stretch, and the gusset aids body movement - both positives. One improvement I would want to see is the two front pockets to be much deeper (like the Prana Bronson pant). This would make it less likely that something would work loose from the pocket and fall out mid-climb, but also long, deep front pockets mean you can keep your arms straight with hands fully in the pockets keeping them warm. This is a comfortable, restful position between climbs (maybe I'm weird).
Bought these for my brother as a Christmas present. Low key asked for his size a few months before to make sure that I got the right measurements and size from the chart. Sadly when he tried them on they were a bit too tight for his liking (personal preference). So I returned them to 3rd Rock with a request for an exchange. I was sent an exchange code for the same amount I initially paid for the trousers and just had to cover shipping, which was completely fair. I have bought climbing clothes from 3rd rock in the past and loved them, but this was my first return/exchange experience, and it was very positive.
Great for walking into town as well as getting a quick kettlebell workout done. Love them.
