Introducing Alyse Dietel.

Alyse is an American climber who has joined the 3rd Rock team for 2017.

'My name is Alyse, and I'm a 24 year old climber from San Jose, California. I was introduced to indoor climbing at seven years old, and spent the next ten years as a national competition climber. I began climbing outdoors when I moved to Arizona for college. Two weeks in to my first semester I fell off a cliff while hiking and broke my spine in three places and shattered my pelvis, along with other injuries. I was told I would never walk again but was able to push through and sent my hardest sport grade of the time, 5.13c, two years after the accident. After taking up trad I was offered a sponsorship with Five Ten and began my career as a pro climber. I'm excited to continue that career with 3rd Rock!'
