A day full of fun, Founder and Creative Director, Jess Mor, tries on the many ways to wear your CAC neckwarmer.

We can certainly say the 2018 Women's Climbing Symposium was a success. Grateful for the opportunity to take part and be sponsor, we at the 3RD ROCK stall saw a great day of camaraderie and inspiration. This year was the biggest yet, and more than 500 women gathered for the Women’s Climbing Symposium at HarroWall in London, the UK's largest bouldering centre. This was the eighth annual symposium to happen in the UK, where each year the destination is unique. 

Founded by Shauna Coxsey, the symposium aims to bring together women climbers for a day of learning, sharing and growing. With incredible stories and talks from climbers such as Beth Rodden, Nina Williams, Lucinda Whittaker and Naomi Buys, the day was full of inspiration.


The topics ranged from high ball bouldering by Nina Williams to projecting and the story of her kidnapping from Beth Rodden. 3RD ROCK athletes Harriet Ridley and Rachel Carr ran workshops throughout the day covering crack climbing and training for strength and safety. 

At our 3RD ROCK stall we ran a demo offering the clothing to all the participants to try on, wear throughout the day, and buy if they wanted at a discount at the end of the day. We also offered a sneak peek of our latest addition to our repertoire coming soon, our Climber’s Against Cancer Tees. The great day was full of sneaky 3RD ROCK spottings culminating with receiving a pair of retired, ancient Eden's that were loved and treasured, having lived a very full life indeed. The Women's Climbing Symposium is an event near and dear to our hearts and brought about an incredible day, the only let down to us, is we have to wait another year for the next!
