Our 2025 Sustainability Report
If you've ever bought a pair of our jeans, you've more than likely seen our slogan: Our Planet, Our Playground.
Without beautiful natural spaces like lush forests, boulderfields, national parks and the countless crags around the UK, we wouldn't have anywhere to play.
That's why we care so much about being sustainable, and caring for not only these spaces but our planet in general. 🌍
Our Green Friday Initiative 💚
This year, during our Black Friday sale we also ran a Green Friday initiative, which was to fund tree planting for every order placed. 🌲
To make this happen we teamed up with Ecologi, a trusted B-CORP where we can not only track the tree planting project we contributed to, but also which speices trees were being planted.
Thanks to the help of our amazing community, we planted 1,044 trees across tree planting projects in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Peru!
Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this target. You can see our virtual forest below.
Our Co2 emission reductions through responsible materials ☁️
We don't just care about the planet once we sell our clothing. When producing our garments we take great care in ensuring we use responsible materials & manufacturing facilities.
By using organic cotton and recycled poly & nylon fibres, we massively reduce our Co2 emissions.
Our overall Co2 reduction for 2025 was 49.5% compared to using conventional cotton or virgin fibres!
| 3RD ROCK Co2 emissions (kg) | Industry standard Co2 emissions (kg) |
| Organic cotton emissions: 14,469kg of Co2 | Conventional cotton emissions: 34,967kg of Co2 |
| Recycled poly emissions: 11,920kg of Co2 | Virgin poly emissions: 16,134kg of Co2 |
| Recycled nylon emissions: 6,833kg of Co2 | Virgin nylon emissions: 14,738kg of Co2 |
Ocean.co sea-bound plastic collection
We've also been working with Ocean.co to help collect sea-bound plastic bottles, because we love them turtles! 🐢🌊
During our time working with Ocean.co we've collected over 148,000 ocean bound plastic bottles from 4 different collection sites around the world: Mangalore, Chennai, and Green Worms (all in India) and Vintz Plastics in Kenya.
What's next for 3RD ROCK's sustainability? 🌱
We'll continue to produce our clothing as responsibly as we can, where we can track our impact to ensure we stay on top of our game. We're also exploring new materials made with naturual recycled fibres.
We're also looking at the operational side of our business, working with couriers, packaging and more to help minimise our impact even more.
We will also explore more sustainability initiatives, whether that's tree planting, ocean plastic collection, charitable donations. Whichever we find is the most transparent and impactful in making the world a greener place.
